JOB DONE IN A DAY WITH TILEMASTER’S SUPER FLOW 30

‘GAME CHANGER’ Tilemaster has launched its new ultra- rapid setting self-leveller – Super Flow 30. The new two-part system provides a top surface finish that can be walked on within 30 minutes - and covered with decorative floor coverings after 90 minutes and ceramics within 45- 60 minutes. The new ‘game changer’ compound offers multiple fixer benefits – from speed, to ease of application - and can be used as a primer-less system.

The launch follows 12 months of extensive on-site trials, during which the compound was fine-tuned to meet all fitter needs. Designed to save time and give peace of mind, Super Flow

30 is a moisture-tolerant bag/bottle system that’s suitable for all substrates, including timber sub-floors and floors with underfloor heating systems. It has a low-odour, protein-free formulation and can be applied directly to a DPM within 24 hours, without priming, and over old adhesive residues and flooring grade asphalt/bitumen. The product can also be used to pre-smooth prior to applying a DPM.

Superior flow, self-levelling and adhesion properties combine to give a constant ‘glass-like’ surface, with ample working time of 10-15 minutes. Described by Eclipse Flooring’s Darren Ewing as “the best levelling compound I have ever used; end of story”, the new compound will be available exclusively through independent flooring distributors around the UK.

GRADUS GREETS CREATORS AT

YOUTUBE SPACE Contract interiors specialist Gradus has installed primary barrier matting at the entrance of YouTube Space, a new world-class filming facility in central London.

YouTube Space is YouTube’s first production facility in the UK and provides creators with access to TV-quality studios and editing suites. The 20,000ft² building boasts 4K and virtual reality cameras across three studios, as well as a green room, makeup and hair salon, and editing facilities.

The mission of YouTube Space is to bring together the most creative people in the world to ‘Learn, Connect and Create’. It is also the venue for the first YouTube Creator Store where fans can purchase merchandise from their favourite creators and events such as book signings and product launches can be held.

Gradus’ Esplanade 8500 primary barrier matting was installed at the main entrance to YouTube Space. Constructed from double black wipers and black anodised aluminium scraper linking strips in closed construction,

Esplanade 8500 is the ideal solution for this busy environment.

Karen Burman product manager at Gradus, said: “With the large number of individuals accessing the building daily, YouTube Space required an effective and durable matting system that is designed to withstand the anticipated levels of foot traffic. The black anodised aluminium linking strips help to reduce glare and strobing which is a common issue in brightly lit environments.

“Barrier matting forms the start of the journey through a building. Our systems help to reduce slip accidents caused by wet floors and help to maintain the

aesthetics of surrounding floorcoverings by reducing the amount of dirt and moisture tracked in from foot and wheeled traffic. This in turn, reduces maintenance costs and prolongs the life of the surrounding floorcoverings.”

Esplanade 8500 can be manufactured to most shapes and sizes, on approval of a template, and can be installed alongside Gradus’ Boulevard secondary barrier carpet for a complete matting solution.

Gradus offers a five-day manufacturing service and a full supply and fit service for primary barrier matting.
