Diana is originally from the Ukraine and came to the United States in April of 2015. She began her journey at Emily Griffith Technical College in the English Language Acquisition (ELA) program. Diana also completed the on-the-job-training courses provided by Emily’s Coffee and the Vocational Transitions courses which prepare students from ELA for certificate programs at Emily Griffith Technical College. Through Diana’s training at Emily’s Coffee she has found employment at the Tattered Cover Bookstore. Additionally, Diana has enrolled in the College’s Barbering Program. She has received a barbering scholarship and will earn her certificate in April 2017.
