Annual Fund Gifts Go?


FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE As requests for assistance continue to grow, annual funds play an increasingly important role in support for need-based and academic scholarships.


INTERNSHIPS + CAREER SERVICES Research shows that students who participate in internships are more likely to get a career related job after graduation. The annual funds support students’ growing demand for internships and career development. The Grand Valley Career Center offers a number of services including career planning, major exploration, and career fairs to assist students as they transition to their futures. Gifts to the annual funds help support these services.


STUDENT SUPPORT SERVICES Grand Valley Fund gifts help accommodate more students in key support services such as tutoring, counseling, and advising. All tutoring services are free and help enhance the learning experience. Some of the services available to students include: the Student Academic Success Center, Structured Learning Assistance, Mathematics Tutoring Center, Statistics Tutoring Center, Science Success Center, and the Meijer Writing Center.


TECHNOLOGY + EQUIPMENT As technology continues to evolve, the university has an ongoing need for the latest equipment to be sure our graduates have innovative learning facilities.
