At Mission Grove we have an enduring belief that the children are the heart of the school. Therefore it is our duty to provide a place where they can feel safe and secure and believe that anything is possible.


We have specialist teachers and highly trained teaching assistants who work alongside class teachers to support children who have additional educational or language needs.

Mission Grove is located close to the vibrant Walthamstow markets. The main building was built in 1904. In September 2012, the school became a four form entry which involved expanding on two sites. The second site is a Victorian building next to Queens Road station.


We are lucky to have substantial playground space on both sites. Every day, playtime is full of children having fun and staying fit. The children are actively involved in improving the outdoor experiences, with the eco council, animals and the gardening club, all planning key learning and activity zones.
