We prepare children to become independent learners.
At Mission Grove we work in partnership with children, parents, carers, staff, governors and friends to ensure all children have the opportunity to fulfil their potential.
We aim to develop children who are confident, successful and compassionate, prepared for education and life beyond Mission Grove.
Children at Mission Grove have a high impact and influence on the culture of the school and are frequently involved in the decision making process. Led by the school captains they participate in the School Council and the Eco Council, which both embolden a strong pupil voice.
The residential in year 6 provides opportunities for the children to challenge their physical skills, make new friends and become more independent.
“I feel my daughter has already achieved so much at a very young age and it all happened by the help of the wonderful teachers and facilities that the school has to offer.”

“Mission Grove has been one amazing experience for me and I definitely would recommend it to
anyone.” Year 5 pupil
We are proud of our diverse community at Mission Grove and throughout the year we celebrate our diversity and achievements. This enables us to strengthen our school community.
Extended services are provided in many different ways to support the needs of the children and parents. Our breakfast and teatime club offer wrap around care from 7.30am until 6pm, on both sites. The children have a healthy breakfast or snack and engage in physical and creative activities.
After school clubs offer a wide range of activities from Futsal club and art club to football and gardening, and many more.
We also offer a holiday club, details can be found on the school website.
“I like coming to school because I do all kinds of fun things.”
