Sahara recognised for International Growth
Sahara Presentations Group has been rec- ognised as the only audio-visual business from the UK to be recognised in The Sunday Times International Track 200. International Fast Track ranks Britain’s mid-market private companies with the fastest over-seas sales. Cabletime acquires roomioTV
Cabletime has announced the acquisition of roomioTV, the US-based hotel and hospitality TV software developer. The move marks Ca- bletime’s inten- tion to become a serious contender in the global ho- tel interactive TV market, enhanc- ing its existing content distribu- tion functionality with a powerful end-user focused solution and bespoke property management interface.
roomioTV has been designed to deliver hotel guests with an in- teractive channel guide indicating what shows they can see. It can deliver live TV, TV-on-Demand, movies from well know OTT providers and can run apps such as local weather updates or even the hotel room bill.
The solution comprises a set-top box run- ning an Android operating system with room- ioTV’s locked-down, easy to use interface which will run seamless- ly with popular displays including Samsung and LG. In the USA, the roomioTV software works with standard hotel property management systems and the plan is to expand this for new geographies.
Avocor has joined the Quicklaunch Solution Partner Program (QSPP) as an Interactive Display OEM. QSPP provides a unique framework for delivering multi- platform collaboration experiences across customer environments.
