The latest software for Frima’s hi-tech VarioCooking Center includes new cooking processes, advanced HACCP logging and a new control panel display that’s even more intuitive and user- friendly than before. Best of all, the upgrade is not only available on all new Frima units, it can also be downloaded, for free, onto existing VarioCooking Centers, so owners of older models can benefit from the upgrades. “Our free software upgrades guarantee that our customers can have the latest software on their VarioCooking Center at all times,” says Simon Lohse, managing director of Rational UK. “It ensures they continue to benefit from new developments, even if they purchased
their unit in previous years. Our aim is to give maximum customer satisfaction throughout the whole life of the product.”
The software upgrade features new, optimised cooking processes that facilitate food production and guarantee top results. There are also brand new cooking processes – they include one for preparing fish and seafood in sauce and another for cooking doughnuts and fritters. The VarioCooking Center automatically controls the temperature and the cooking process, sounding an alert to let chefs know when their involvement is required, so nothing ever burns or overcooks.
The enhanced HACCP feature means that not only are changes in temperature logged, but the temperatures are also logged at least every 30 minutes, regardless of whether or not they have changed. This helps to provide a better understanding of the cooking process.

The new display design for the touch control panel has a more modern feel with clear icons and simplified graphics. “Chefs will find it even easier and quicker to use than before,” says Simon.

HUBBARD SYSTEMS TAKES ON COMENDA WAREWASHERS FROM DAWSON MMP
Hubbard Systems is pleased to announce that it will become the exclusive distributor for Comenda products in the UK.
The appointment comes following a recent strategic review by ALI Group of the Dawson business and the decision to reposition and refocus the UK distribution of its Comenda warewash products, along with the other brands currently traded by Dawson.
“Hubbard Systems and the ALI Group already have a strong commercial partnership with the exclusive distribution of Scotsman ice makers, and we welcome this exciting opportunity to further develop our position in the UK market,” says Simon Aspin, Commercial Director of Hubbard Systems.

From 5th June 2017 all Comenda products and spare parts will be distributed by Hubbard Systems. All products which are still under warranty, or were bought with an extended service package, will be managed by Hubbard, in conjunction with Service Line who will fulfil the service obligations to ensure there is no loss of continuity during the transition.
Comenda has an exceptional reputation, with a full range of machines from small under counter glasswashers right up to special- build rack and flight machines, selling several thousand units per year globally.
Hubbard aims to build the Comenda brand in the UK by working closely with the Comenda factory on larger schemes, and taking the same approach with Comenda as with the
Scotsman brand, maintaining high levels of customer support and product availability.
