Hello and welcome to the June issue of Venue Insight Magazine, THE MUST HAVE publication for the UK hospitality industry.

We kick things off with a preview of the always anticipated Imbibe Live – the innovative and interactive annual exhibition for anyone who sources, buys or serves drinks in the licenced on-trade. Join 12,000 drinks professionals at this year’s show on 3-4 July at Olympia London.

Now the summer season is in full flow we check in with two pop ups that are sure to give you some inspiration. Neverland London takes guests on a journey to paradise as Fulham welcomes its first ever Thameside beach spot. A unique and affordable, alfresco, dining and drinking experience.

Miami Beach is the latest instalment from Backyard Cinema, the UK’s only theme-changing cinema responsible for The Last Chapel, The Winter Night Garden and The Lost World. Not just your average cinema, Backyard Cinema will bring the Miami heat to Borough with a tropical beach and exotic cocktails to accompany screenings of classic films and blockbusters.

Cider sales are sure to be up now that the warm weather has arrived, whether it be draught keg, bottled or traditional still cider. We hear from the experts at Sheppy’s about why every one of their bottles is a masterpiece. The lovely folk at Lilley’s Cider explain why bag-in-box is becoming the preferred product for so many cider producers and publicans.

Marketing Matters – Matt Titchener, Maidaid Marketing Manager shares some valuable advice that is sure to help you budding marketeers out there.

Once again, this issue is packed with news, innovation, essential products and ideas to help you keep your venue the best it can be.

Finally, our thoughts go out to everyone in Manchester after the recent terror attack. Your strength and solidarity is what makes Britain great.
