Communication


Communication is very important to the success of our camp. All of us; parents, counselors, supervisors, etc. are working together to ensure each camper has a positive experience while they are in our summer camp program. This can only be achieved through effective communication.


Camp Compass utilizes the following methods of communication: Clipboard - You must sign your camper in and out on the clipboard daily. Weekly Newsletters– These newsletters will be given out Friday at both drop-off and pickup. They will contain information about our week, highlight different counselors working with your children, and reminders about what to bring to camp and what is in store for the upcoming weeks. Progress Report - These reports are written, as needed, to let parents know more formally the camper’s progress, both positive and negative. Parent Information Station - Located in the front lobby at Rivers Edge, this board will have information about the day and week. Be sure to check this out each day! Phone - You may call at any time to check on your camper’s progress or to leave a message on Camp Compass cell phones. If there is no answer, please leave a message.
