The Florida Police Chiefs Association has estab- lished the following awards to recognize law enforcement professionals who have distin- guished themselves in service to their agencies, communities and/or fellow members.


➢Chief Executive of the Year ➢Command Officer of the Year


Nominations for this very prestigious award may be made by anyone wishing to nominate a law enforcement chief executive officer of a Florida Municipal, College/University, School Board/District, Tribal Police, or Airport law enforce- ment agency and a FPCA member in good standing.

Nominations for this award must be made by a chief executive officer of a Florida Municipal, College/University, School Board/District, Tribal Police, or Airport law enforcement agency and be a FPCA member in good standing. The nominee must be nominated by their chief executive officer and be a full time law enforcement command staff as determined by the chief executive officer (FPCA membership is not required).
