Teak-coloured grating

Attractive and functional teak- coloured Mini Mesh Dura Grating designed for use in marinas and on waterfronts was recently launched by Dura Composites Ltd. Made using advanced fibreglass

composite technology, the Mini Mesh Dura Grating in teak features one of the highest slip resistances ever measured for a walking surface and can be used in a variety of marina applications to replace steel, metal or wood. It combines both beauty and durability and has the added advantage of providing a perfect match to the company’s range of

Marina crane with mast removal

The space-saving Schilstra Boatlift 20 ton rotating boat crane can be operated by just one person. The crane rotates from a point halfway up the column, the action being driven by two electric motors that ensure smooth turning even in high winds. The rotation is

frequency-regulated, which means the drive motor has a soft start and stop to prevent the boat from swinging. The crane is built with a 125%

safety margin and each lifting arm is capable of lifting five tons. It can also be equipped with a fixed or

hydraulically-controlled arm with a hoisting point to remove masts from boats. In this case, the crane will be fitted with a handrail and ladders for operator safety. All the electrical controls are

located inside the column, which is entered through a door into a small

Ultra Deck composite timber decking and fenders, which are also available in a teak colour. Therefore, marinas do not need to compromise on safety or performance to achieve an aesthetic appearance. Mini Mesh Dura Grating in teak is

available by special order in 22, 30, 38 and 50 mm thicknesses. Free product samples can be obtained by calling Andy Buckingham, Dura Composites’ Marine Sector Sales Manager, on Tel: +44 (0)1225 440297. Dura Composites Ltd info@duracomposites.com www.duracomposites.com

room where boat slings and other equipment can be stored. The crane is remote-controlled

as standard, but can also be controlled via a cable if the remote ever fails. Schilstra Boatlift Systems info@schilstraboatliftsystems. com www.schilstraboatliftsystems. com
