What is your idea of a corporate ‘away stay’? At Milsom Hotels, we believe that business can be fun, so imagine the chance to exclusively take over a luxury hotel for 24 hours. Maison Talbooth in Dedham is just such a hotel, situated minutes away from the A12 and 60 minutes from London Liverpool Street.
The hotel has 12 individual bedrooms, day spa*, outdoor pool and pool house, tennis court and hot tub as well as an award winning restaurant, allowing you and your colleagues to get on with the business of the day – nothing could be easier. Choose from two rooms for your meetings, either the Garden Room with wide views over the Stour Valley or the Pool House, complete with honesty bar, screens and open log fire on the covered terrace. Both of these are readily available for you to use if you take over the whole property (not meeting rooms in the proper sense of the word, but with all the facilities you require).
And if you want or need to partake in a spot of teambuilding either on or off-site, we can easily arrange activities such as laser clay shooting, archery, canoeing or paddle boarding on the river Stour for you, along with all the necessary equipment and training if required. Cycling and walking, while not so energetic, are another two activities which will allow you to make the most of your stay on the north Essex/Suffolk border.
What’s included? Everything from the minute you walk in the door!
Coffee on arrival, working lunch, three course dinner with wines in the Garden Room, bar in the lounge, exclusive use of all the rooms for meetings, overnight accommodation and full English breakfast. During the summer, the hotel can also offer a barbecue on the terrace but of course this is weather dependant.
And the cost? All the above starts from £360 per person. This is based on single occupancy of the entire 12 bedrooms, but if you have more people who are prepared to share rooms, then the per- person rate goes down.
If you take over the hotel on a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday during 2017, we will offer a 10% discount. You will need to quote PA17 to get this discount when booking.
*Note: The Day Spa is not included in the rate but can be hired exclusively if required.
