The Royal Horseguards Hotel & One Whitehall Place Address: 2 Whitehall Court London SW1A 2EJ T: 0207 451 0427 E: onewhitehallplace@guoman.co.uk www.onewhitehallplace.com, www.guoman.com/royalhorseguards

One Whitehall Place’s story began in November 1884 when William Gladstone laid the foundation stone. Modelled on a grand French château it was home to the political and literary greats of the 19th and 20th century in British Society.

Proudly sitting on Victoria Embankment alongside the West End, the building overlooks the River Thames towards the fashionable South Bank and London Eye. Stepping into Victorian elegance, you are welcomed by doormen in top hats and a grand circular marble staircase. Reach our heritage proud rooms to discover ornate sculpted ceilings, glittering chandeliers and spectacular views over the River Thames.

A variety of options are at your disposal with eight event rooms boasting natural daylight through floor to ceiling windows in One Whitehall Place and six in The Royal Horseguards Hotel.

The Gladstone Library was a working library once upon a time. The essence of the original library remains intact through faithful replicas of the 30,000 volumes surrounding the room. The high ceilings, magnificent faïence tiled columns and stunning chandeliers enhance the impressive Victorian grandeur of the room. It is the perfect backdrop to any type of event.

The Whitehall Suite, formerly the billiards room displays some of the finest examples of intricate faïence tiling on its splendid columns. Tucked away, the original balcony where ladies could sit and watch the gentlemen play billiards still stands. It is an elegant and spacious room, ideal for large events.

The Terrace, a hidden secret garden, is the jewel of the property. It offers private outdoor space, and a stunning location with London skyline and London Eye. Enjoy cocktails, BBQ and Alfresco dinning while listening to the Bells of Big Ben. The outside heaters also make it perfect for those chillier days and nights.

Adjoining One Whitehall Place stands the award-winning The Royal Horseguards hotel. Offering 5 star luxury and superb facilities, it is the ultimate client service to complement your event. Features include 282 opulent bedrooms fitted with the latest technology and lavish river views. Enjoy complementary high-speed wi-fi throughout the hotel, award-winning British cuisine in One Twenty One Two Restaurant, traditional Afternoon Tea, 24-hour room service and a fully equipped gym.

To complete your experience a team of professionals who will support you throughout your journey is provided at all times. One Whitehall Place combines warm hospitality and intuitive service.
