Angela L. Dohrman has been named chief operating officer/senior vice president for SpiriTrust Lutheran. Dohrman joined SpiriTrust in 2008 as vice president for Senior Living, where she provided leadership for the expansion of The Village at Sprenkle Drive, strengthened the agency’s partnership


with health systems through post-acute transitional care collaboration and is providing leadership for another soon- to-be announced partnership. In her expanded role, she will continue to lead the Senior Living division and has been designated to serve as acting CEO, if needed.


SpiriTrust Lutheran has entered into a partnership with Friends Life Care to co-brand and launch a Continuing Care at Home program in Adams, Cumberland and York counties in 2017. The partnership will allow both agencies to expand their missions to advance long-term care through innovative and exceptional health and human services. Friends Life Care, the first and largest continuing care provider in the nation, will coordinate the home care provided by SpiriTrust Lutheran’s trusted network of caregivers.


MacGregor Brillhart has been named partner at Stock and Leader, Attorneys at Law. After working in finance with JP Morgan Chance and subsequently graduating from


Widener University School of Law, Brillhart joined Stock and Leader’s Estates Group in 2008. He provides council and advocacy to individuals regarding wealth preservation and succession planning, routinely assisting clients with wills, trusts, powers of attorney, advanced medical directives and fiduciary litigation, as well as estate


and trust administration. Additionally, he maintains a thriving elder law practice advising clients on the preparation of Medical Assistance applications and the utilization of various Medicaid Planning techniques.


Totem Pole Playhouse, in association with Gettysburg Community Theatre, welcomed 1,200 Adams County students to attend, free of charge, matinee presentations of “A Christmas Carol,” thanks, in part, to a $12,000 grant from the Adams County Community Foundation. Students saw the production, had a chance to participate in a question and answer session with the cast and crew and could continue the experience back in the classroom with study guides provided to participating teachers.


Central Penn Parent will recognize 35 local individuals and organizations for their honorable work and dedication to our region’s health at its eighth annual Healthcare Heroes awards program, held March 16. Finalists include chamber members Joni Griffin, VNA of Hanover Spring Grove, Health Administration Hero, and Terri Brandt, WellSpan Gettysburg Hospital, Nurse of the Year.
