Johnson has long been a part of the maritime scene in Southern California, as both a distinguished sailor and as a yacht salesman with prestigious outfi ts in the Newport Beach area. A Southern California native, his passion for sailing developed early and has developed into a lifelong interest, both personally and profession- ally. He has sailed recreationally and com- petitively, participating as a skipper and tactician on many Transpacs, Ensenada and Cabo races, as well as many races on the Eastern Seaboard and in Asia. Johnson is excited about his new posi- tion with Stan Miller Yachts, where he’ll represent a variety of new boat brands like Viking, Hatteras, MJM, Sabre, Back Cove and more. He has extensive experi- ence with both sailing and cruising boats, including his most recent position repre- senting and selling Fleming yachts. “I’m looking forward to being a part of the Stan Miller Yachts team and represent- ing clients as they search for the perfect sailboat or cruising boat,” Johnson said. “Whether we’re helping people buy the right boat, or assisting them in selling their boat … our team has a solid background and knowledge of the West Coast market. We’re really positioned to help our clients achieve what they’ve worked so hard to get – whether it’s a 60-foot yacht or a 25-foot sloop.” Johnson’s hiring represents the third
broker added to the Stan Miller Yachts sales team in the past six months, as the company expands their California and Washington operations. Johnson can be reached at 949-421-
8006 or by email at
walter@stanmiller.com. The Stan Miller Yachts’ Newport Beach offi ce is located at 2600 Newport Blvd., Ste. 106.
