CUTTING WASTE CUTS COSTS Trans Tech President John Phraner imple- mented Smart Manufacturing and a total overhaul of the Warwick, New York, bus man- ufacturer’s production line when he assumed his responsibilities in 2012. Converting from a traditional assembly line to a circular one, he
