he dawn of 2016, or any year, is a perfect time to start anew and present a fresh face to the world. As you’ve undoubtedly noticed already, this extends to School


Transportation News magazine. Times, they are a-changin’, Bob Dylan famously sang, and so, too, is the publishing world and its products. We resolutely believe that print isn’t dead and isn’t dying, but that doesn’t mean it couldn’t use a facelift that ties in with our web presence. So we’ve redesigned our monthly edition not only in terms of aesthetics but also how we package all of our content for readers. Call is a New Year’s resolution to provide clearer resolution to the industry. Te “News” holds steadfast in our title, and it always will. After reading the following pages, we hope you’ll agree that the same type of in depth articles we’ll bring you each month are even more informative, thought-provoking and, at the same time, interactive. Each month we’ll strive to bring readers different facets to the story, related items and more that will give new life to the magazine and its companion website, stnon- line.com, while meeting our goal of keeping you in tune with current events and trends. Twenty-plus years into this thing called the Internet

Call it “BOON,” and we think it’ll be exactly that, an advantage for readers and advertisers alike as they strive for the information and connections they need to perform their jobs better and push their employees to do the same. But we also wanted to enhance our premium print


product, just like we did last year for all our websites, because we are grateful for the loyalty of our monthly readership. You’ll continue to receive the best industry coverage and analysis you’ve grown to expect, just more of it and easier to find and interact with, thanks to a new, gift-wrapped package that we feel is more deserving of such a noble profession and the people in it. Keep this in mind as you consume this month’s
