The system, Sikafloor-2
Syntop, is a dry shake surface hardener for new concrete floors
comprising a formulation of synthetic mineral aggregates.

Addagrip has just launched EP
Addalevel SL2K, the company’s
latest self-smoothing epoxy floor
finish. SL2K provides a gloss
surface in a choice of colours
that can be used on both old
and new concrete floors.
SL2K is a pigmented, seamless
flow applied flooring system
based on a solvent-free, two part epoxy resin incorporating special
fillers. The result is a smooth, impervious and hard wearing surface
which is ideal for situations where hygiene, durability and ease of
cleaning are important. SL2K is completely watertight and provides
good resistance to most chemicals including alkalis, oils, fats and
salts, and offers some resistance to acids.

expert, Daedalian, is now
able to offer clients a range
of proprietary effects using a
variety of inserts. Inserts can
be flowers, leaves, crumpled
fabric, metal mesh, or even
coloured plastic film (which
can be printed with a variety
of different colours). In some
cases, like flowers or crumpled material, as the air is removed,
the bonding resin flows into crevices and grooves and around the
insert, completing the sealing process.
