Teen Talent Follies began in 1965 as a talent show by the Sundown Kiwanis Club, to bring local opportunity like the Stairway to the Stars in Fort Worth, Texas. Persis Senior was asked to direct a tal- ent show for Junior and Senior High School students where they could win scholarship money for their future pursuits.
