If you’d like a film star element to your most special of days then sweep up the red carpet and into The Spinnaker for your wedding.
We know that your wedding is one of the most important days of your life and we pride ourselves on the attention to details that will make it one that you’ll remember forever. Situated in our beautifully decorated Edwardian hotel, The Stern Room is the perfect place to hold your ceremony. Seating up to 50 guests, access can be made directly from our hotel reception giving you and your guests complete privacy. You can also enjoy our garden patio, which provides a romantic place for a celebratory glass of champagne after the ceremony. We are also delighted to partner with the LGBT community to help you celebrate your special day.
Wedding breakfasts are taken in our light and airy restaurant which seats 50 or you can combine this room with The Stern Room to seat 110. Our wedding planner is on hand throughout to make sure your day goes smoothly. All of our wedding packages include the red carpet treatment on arrival, linens, menu tasting, private licensed bar until midnight, discounted accommodation for your guests and a dedicated wedding coordinator.
Our chefs have designed a host of menu ideas and choices to cater for every taste whether you are having a traditional wedding or an evening meal after returning from being married abroad. We utilise the best quality produce, regularly sourced from the Island and south coast and the chefs are happy to tailor menus around your choices. These can include petit fours with coffee, having an evening hot buffet or even a hog roast on the patio. We also offer a comprehensive selection of wines and champagne, sourced from local businesses.
The Spinnaker boasts 14 en suite rooms with a mixture of Executive King, Deluxe King, Family Rooms or Twin rooms to suit your guest’s needs. All rooms have been refurbished to a beautiful standard and we can provide breakfast the day after your wedding for a group or individuals with champagne if you wish for some extra sparkle. We can also offer Sunday lunch to catch up with friends and family after the big day. And if a winter festive wedding is your fancy then The Spinnaker can offer a fully festively decorated hotel where you can celebrate in the warmth of Christmas. Certainly something for everyone.
