2017 - what exciting prospects await us all. Dear Reader / Meet the EXPERTS delegate,
Welcome to the first edition of CPD Specifier in 2017 - a year that promises to be full of excitement, uncertainty, change and new beginnings - plus, we have the prospects of BREXIT and a new US President!
Actually, me and Donald Trump once, literally, bumped shoulders, this was back in 1997 just a couple of days before Princess Diana died. I was in the lower retail area in Trump Tower and turned to escape. Despite his bodyguards we managed to bump into each other - but, his hair never moved!
The BREXIT process could, of course, mean hair raising times! However, we are now committed to leaving the EU so we will all, no doubt, just have to deal with any results whether advantageous or not. Exciting times!
Even more exciting is the DCE Meet the EXPERTS Technical Forum tour in 2017.
The 80+ events will see a whole raft of brand new seminar presentations this year. We have many new companies who have finally found their way to the DCE format and most of our existing presenters are working busily to refresh and renew their seminars in order to keep YOU specifiers as well informed as possible.

As always, the DCE CPD events will blanket cover the UK. From Jersey to Inverness, Aberystwyth to Hull and numerous locations in between. The 2017 themes will be: Dealing with NOISE; ROOFING Update; FLOORING Solutions, plus all the ‘localised’ regional Buildingex and RRR events.
2017 will also see DCE celebrating 30 years of staging regional events for Building and Construction professionals.
Over this period we have organised and presented more than 2,700 different events - that’s a lot of Bacon Rolls!!
Hopefully, 2017 will be healthy, prosperous and peaceful for us all.
