ICE SKATING Join us on the ice and learn to skate with NASR-Belvidere Staff! Program is scheduled during public open skate times. Staff will be on hand to assist participants with ice skates and the use of accessible equipment (walkers/ sleds/seals). Skate rental, rink admission, staff, and use of specialty equipment are included in the fee. All partici- pants are expected to dress for the weather; hats, gloves mittens, winter coat, etc. May bring money for hot cocoa.

BE A HUGGER! The 4th Annual “Hug an Athlete” 5k will take place on Sunday, February 26th and we need your help! Runners, walkers, and rollers from our community (and beyond) will take part in our annual 5k to help raise money for NASR-Belvidere Pirates Special Olympics programs. A hugger’s job, is just that, to give hugs, handshakes, or high 5’s to all 5k participants who cross the finish line!

MARDI GRAS BALL Dinner & Dancing!
Dust off those dancing shoes and dress your best to walk the red carpet and enjoy Mardi Gras themed night out with your friends! Guests will dine in style, while enjoying an Italian cuisine. Make a Mardi Gras themed mask to take home. Everyone will also receive a flower and take pictures with friends during this night to remember! Formal dress is recommended, but not required.
