North Wales - Brynteg INVESTING IN YOUR PARK!

Our work already on essential back-of-house works and increased

energy involving the

manicuring of the park after the winter is well underway now. I am sure you will already be able to see the ‘green shoots’ of our endeavours although I have to say that our intention in all that we do is to put projects in place that are right for the long term and to a standard where our owners can see we are absolutely serious about their enjoyment and experience whilst with us. I should add that already we have spent more than £200,000 of capital expenditure on some essential works around your catering, spa, leisure, lakeside and drainage amenities with platforms of improvement that we will build on going forward. It is a bottom-up approach and in areas where

FAREWELL TO FAMILIAR FACES

We say goodbye to Steve Lewis and Becky Williams who have sadly decided to move on from Brynteg.

Steve & Becky worked at

Brynteg over many years and were much loved by owners and team alike. They will be missed by everyone and we wish them all the best for the future.

the impact isn’t always obvious, but like any organisation with clear intentions to be excellent we know we need to have the basics right for you.

WELL DONE ROB

A huge well done goes to Rob, our leisure team supervisor, who has been hailed a hero after donning his wetsuit and jumping on board his surf board to retrieve Lennon Roberts’ remote control boat from the middle of the lake after it ran out of batteries!

Lennon wanted to say thank you to Rob personally – “Thank you Rob for rescuing my boat from the lake today. You are my hero. Lennon.”

GET TO KNOW YOUR TEAM

Now that Steve has left, we feel we should introduce you to our current sales team and have got them together for a quick Q&A session!

So who are you and how long you have worked at Brynteg:

Charles Boucher - I am the new Sales Manager at Brynteg, I have been here for about 6 weeks and have worked with Park Leisure for 8 months

Dan Rylance - I am part of the sales team at Brynteg, I have been here for about 4 months, I have been working with Park Leisure for 2 years

So what did you do before you came to Brynteg?

Dan - I worked at Plas Coch also before coming to Brynteg and before that I was at a park in County Durham

Charles - I didn’t work at Plas Coch but I did work at Yorkshire Dales and Kingfisher in County Durham. I also used to work for another holiday park operator but prior to becoming a sales person I dabbled in a bit of male modelling, played professional cricket and once appeared on ITV’s dating show Take Me Out!

Wow that is a colourful career Charles! So what do you love about working for Park Leisure?

Dan - I have worked for them for a few years now and I think they are a great company, they really do put the owners at the heart of their decision making which I love and it also makes my job easy as I have faith in what I am selling

Charles - I agree with what Dan says and I think they have the balance right between hard work and fun too. They really understand the important things about being on a holiday home park which is a lifestyle, and realise how important owner events and get-togethers are for owners and team to get to know all the owners

Ok so a few fun questions, what would be the first thing you did if you won the lottery?

Dan - I have recently become a dad for the first time so I would spoil my beautiful daughter with lots of gifts and certainly a family with holiday with my partner and daughter too

Charles - I’d definitely book a diving holiday to the Maldives.

Finally, if you could have a super power for a day what would it be and why?

Charles - That’s easy for me, I would be able to fly and then I would fly home for the day to see my friends and family in South Africa

Dan - Now that’s a tricky one for me, I think it would be invisibility so I could play pranks on my friends for the day and not get caught

Thanks guys, that was great! You can find the sales team in the Sales Office Monday – Sunday 9am-7pm, they love getting to know their owners so anytime you’re passing buy just pop in for a drink and a chat
