Pitchcare Classifieds Product News A round-up of the latest product news announced in recent weeks
exclusive CommandCut mower deck lift system. Both tractors are also available with a choice of open operator station or cab, offering good all- round visibility.
The 2R Series tractors improve productivity through several easy-to-use features. The all-new CommandCut system for the mid-mounted rotary mower deck on the 2036R provides quick and accurate cutting height adjustment with the turn of a dial and the nudge of a lever.
JOHN Deere is to launch its new 2R Series compact tractors to the UK and Irish markets at the NEC.
The 26hp 2026R and 36hp 2036R compact tractors feature new ground-up designs and a host of innovative features. The 2026R is ideal for operating in more confined spaces, while the 2036R has a wider footprint and longer wheelbase, combined with increased tractor weight for better stability.
Both models are designed for comfort and reduced operator fatigue during long working days, with ergonomic controls, a tiltable steering wheel and cruise control. The 2036R also offers a premium air suspension seat and the industry
Both models also have Twin Touch foot controls, which simplify the selection of speed and direction of travel. An eThrottle feature allows the machine to automatically increase or decrease engine speed as required, while standard cruise control keeps ground speed consistent.
Fully independent ptos allow front, mid and rear- mounted implements to be attached at the same time and combined in different ways, to increase the equipment’s versatility. AutoConnect mid- mounted mower decks are easy to attach and remove for higher productivity, while new QuikAttach 120R and 220R front loaders are designed specifically for the 2R Series, for maximum performance.

KUBOTA UK has extended Kubota Care on its L Series mid-range tractors.
Customers wishing to purchase Kubota's L Series, mid-range utility tractors, can now take advantage of the extended warranty programme through Kubota Care.

RANSOMES MP 653 XC is the world’s first and only wide area rotary mower with a 4.27m (14- foot) cutting width, increasing productivity by up to 25% (up to 1 hectare per hour more) over traditional 3.4m (11-foot) mowers.
Designed and manufactured at Ransomes Jacobsen’s European headquarters in Ipswich, the MP Series is primarily targeted at the municipal sector, and provides multiple options from a single design platform.
Visit stand H090 at Saltex to see the new addition to the MP Series which replaces the venerable Ransomes HR6010 and the Ransomes Commander.

HUSQVARNA’S new X-CUT SP33G is made of five parts (cutter, tie strap, bumper drive link, drive link and rivet), carefully linked together to become a low-vibration, pixel saw chain that cuts a narrow kerf, and requires less power from the saw than standard cutting systems. The output is four key benefits that reduces downtime and maximises cutting efficiency.
The design of the cutters and the micro-structure of the steel and the chrome layers have been refined to give the X-CUT chain a sharpness out of the box that lasts considerably longer before filing is needed. In lab conditions, the chain's sharpness lasts 10% longer than a comparable Husqvarna H30 chain.

WIEDENMANN UK’s new Terra Spike SL can tine down to 210mm on fine turf, making it more than twice the match for some shallow aerators.
The SL introduces a built-in tine return system and additional shock absorbing facility never seen before. The engineering development helps keep the SL’s weight to just 470kg even though the aerator is a handsome 1.4m wide. Suited to compact tractors from 20hp with 600kg lift capacity, it has a very light footprint and will decompact greens and tees.

The X-CUT chain is pre-stretched at the factory, which increases the amount of time the chain can be used before re-tensioning is needed, hence reducing downtime. This reduced need for adjustments decreases the risk of damaging the cutting system due to a slacking chain.
To maximise cutting efficiency, the X-CUT chain is engineered to cut faster and smoother, and with a well-balanced cutter angle. Compared to relevant competition, X-CUT SP33G cuts faster and more efficiently. Lab results measure up to a 10% higher efficiency than the previously mentioned H30 chain.

FOLLOWING the unrivaled success of the Air2G2, Campey Turf Care Systems have added the Air2HP a handheld portable probe to the range, offering precise aeration for hard to reach areas.
The Air2HP apparatus works using a single probe aerator – which is activated by a hand
operated air valve – which fractures the soil profile. The air can reach a diameter of 2 – 3 feet (0.61 – 0.94m) below the surface, with probe depths varying depending on surface hardness.
The portable nature of the probe makes it ideal for use in sand bunkers, small spaces and hard to
reach places. The design also makes it one of the best methods for spot treating areas of
standing water, as well as for use at the base of trees, around tree roots, flower beds and lawns.
When used in any of these areas, it will inject air into the soil column, shooting oxygen into the roots and fracturing compacted soil for air and water movement. This will increase drainage, soil
porosity and help remove any standing water in the area.
