Invitation for Bids IFB No. 799-16 City of Portsmouth, Virginia
Project: Paradise Creek Water Main Replacement
The City of Portsmouth will receive sealed bids for the above ti- tled project at the Purchasing Office, City of Portsmouth, located at Portsmouth City Hall, 801 Crawford Street, 5th Floor, Portsmouth, Virginia 23704 until 2:00 p.m. local time on September 29, 2016 at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Any bids received after the specified time and date will not be consid- ered. The Work under this Project consists of the installation of new 10-inch water distribution piping attached to the existing bridge over Paradise Creek, maintenance of traffic control, connections to ex- isting mains, construction permit acquisition, and all other appurte- nances and work required for a complete installation of new water distribution piping.
A MANDATORY PRE BID CONFERENCE will be held on Septem- ber 16, 2016 at 10:00 AM local time at the City of Portsmouth De- partment of Public Utilities Operations Center, 430 Meander Road, Portsmouth, VA 23704.
