Introduction to Access Control Systems
Explores the principles of access control systems and methods by which access can be granted or restricted. The course begins with the basic components of a solution, then turns to more advanced card and reader technology.
Introduction to Intruder Detection Systems Covers the basic components of an intruder detection solution. The course includes an explanation of the technologies used in different detections, as well as contacts and panic alarms, and a section on wiring configurations.
Transitioning to IP Video Systems
Uses a basic analogue CCTV system as a starting point for explaining migration to IP. The course introduces encoders, hybrid devices, cloud services, and fully fledged IP systems to demonstrate how IP can be implemented in an efficient and cost effective manner.
