focus on winchester 15 Legal team strengthened
Hampshire law firm, Eric Robinson Solicitors, has expanded the team in its Winchester offices in Milland Road with the arrival of two new specialists in property and private client work
With the recent surge in property prices and the subsequent need of owners to safeguard it for their families, Eric Robinson Solicitors has responded to the demand of its increasing client base in Winchester by making two key appointments.
Hugh Barnard arrives to assist partner Guy Hurst in his landed estates team which has extensive experience in dealing with all types of property, including the specialist demands of clients owning and managing rural property, while Christopher Bull joins the firm’s wills, trusts and succession team.
After deciding to pursue a career in law following a work experience placement at the age of 16, Barnard obtained a law degree at Bristol University and completed the LPC at Guildford Law School. He advised landed estates during his training where he also gained experience
Advice Bureau in Andover for three years and qualified as a generalist adviser.
“The opportunity to help others and guide them through difficult problems confirmed my desire to be a solicitor,” he recalls. “Whether someone is planning for their passing, or relatives are in need of guidance, my job is to offer both solutions and support in what can be a difficult time.”
After qualifying in 2015, Bull was immediately asked to lead a private client department, working in Stockbridge and Andover before moving to Eric Robinson Solicitors in March of this year to join the firm's wills, trusts and succession team.

Christopher Bull first studied law at Peter Symonds College in Winchester, graduated with honours in law at the University of Sussex and achieved a distinction in his LPC at BPP Law School in London. While studying, Bull volunteered for the Citizens
