Ionolux is a light-curing glass ionomer restorative material in VITA shades A1, A2, A3, A3.5 and B1, which combines the advantages of glass ionomer materials which those of composites. The dentist can, for example, individually adjust the working time of Ionolux by using a polymerisation light.


Application of Ionolux is quick, and the material can be modelled with ease without sticking to the instrument. It also adapts excellently to cavity walls. Ionolux not only makes conditioning of the dental hard tissue unnecessary, there is also no need to apply a


final coat of varnish. Polymerisation times are short and practice- oriented, at 20 seconds per 2-mm layer.

Training for all dental solutions and materials with Zirkonzahn


This June, Enrico Steger, inventor of the manual five-axes milling machine, will continue his worldwide lecture tour in Belfast (7 June), Aberdeen (8 June) and Glasgow (9 June). In his lecture, Steger will provide tips for daily digital work, show new software solutions and talk about the different possibilities offered by Zirkonzahn’s materials. Steger’s primary aim is to make education accessible and appealing to everyone, as he believes that only well-educated dental technicians can be real

masters of their craft. This is why he puts a lot of thought and a lot of his time into planning new ways of educating future dental technicians.


Known as a dental visionary and a lively speaker, Mr. Steger will give a glimpse into future innovations in the dental sector. In this context, he will outline the importance and the opportunities of an intelligent workflow design: he will provide a live demonstration of Zirkonzahn’s CAD/CAM System software, leaving space for answering question that


may arise during the presentation. New developments and ideas can often be realised with the choice of new systems and materials. Showing the many opportunities provided by the CAD/CAM Systems and the wide range of materials, Enrico Steger will demonstrate short- and long-term temporaries made from resin, full contour zirconia restorations, titanium primary structures. Furthermore, he will explain how to create a sinter metal bridge with Prettau Anterior crowns, which is a well-approved


technique from Zirkonzahn. The lecture will be free of charge but registration is required.
