Oak Canyon Nature Center “Opening Doors
To Nature” your love and knowledge of nature
Become a specially trained volunteer at Oak Canyon Nature Center to help promote a greater understanding and appreciation of plants, wildlife, history, culture, and ecology of the region. Docents will also assist with school field trips, special events, public programs, and resource protection.
Recommended Candidates: ★Retired teachers or science professionals
★Student teachers and college students in natural science studies or similar programs
★Nature enthusiasts who are knowledgeable or have experience in the environment, wildlife, science, history, or local culture.
