I am 48 years old and moved here from Middlesex 13 years ago with my son. Milford has been good to us and we found ourselves to be happy here from the off!

I have worked in the Community mostly; I transferred from the London Ambulance Service to Hampshire's Ambulance Service when we re‐located. I am passionate about taking care of each other and sustainability.

In the last edion of the Village Voice, we reported that the Environment Agency was due to remove the build‐up of silt from the river around the reed bed near the bridge before Christmas. The Parish Council have been informed that this has now been delayed unl the spring because of ecological reasons. The silt will be then deposited on the bank to allow the nutrients to benefit the adjacent riverbank soil. We will keep you posted of developments.

The role as Parish Councillor is an interesng experience and I hope to help my fellow councillors support the Milford‐ On‐Sea community to remain as a delighul village as it is now for the future, promong services for all members of our Community and Businesses.
