Doug served on the Steering Committee
Doug was born and raised in Albion,
Nebraska. He attended Fairbury Junior College in Fairbury, Nebraska where he met and married Peggy Preston Donscheski. Doug and Peggy have two children Drew of Glenwood, Iowa and Kirstin of Lincoln. Doug and Peggy have three grandchildren, Korbyn, Mia, and Kane. Doug enjoys his grandchildren and playing a few rounds of golf! In 1974 Doug was an insurance agent with
Great West Casualty Insurance Company in South Sioux City, Nebraska. In September 1975 Doug and Peggy moved to Lincoln, where he began his career with the Carrier Enforcement and Permit Section of the Nebraska Department of Roads as the Permit Supervisor. In 1985 the Carrier Enforcement Division
was transferred to the State Patrol where he held the position of Office Supervisor until 1987, when he was promoted to Federal Aid Administrator I. In 1990 he was promoted to Federal Administrator II. In 1996 he was promoted to Federal Aid Administrator III, and in 2011 was promoted to his current position of Motor Carrier Safety Manager. While serving in these capacities Doug has
been recognized numerous times by safety and regulatory organizations for his dedication to improving commercial motor vehicle safety. Doug has served as chair of many safety
committees both locally and nationally such as the Chair of the Information System
in development of FMCSA’s SAFER System. Doug also served as Chair of the CVSA Data Quality Ad Hoc Committee, Served on the Heavy License Plate Inc. (HELP Inc.) Board of Directors and Safety Committee Chair, Chair of the Nebraska PrePass Steering Committee, and Chair of the CVSA/ Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration Program Managers Course. He also served as Vice President and President of Region III of CVSA representing thirteen ( 13) Midwestern states and the Northern Mariana Islands. In 2014 Doug was selected as Nebraska
State Patrol’s Civilian Manager of the Year. In September 2015 Doug received the CVSA Presidential Award.

Denise is a graduate of Fairbury High
School and also a graduate of Peru State College, earning her degree in Business Administration and Marketing Management. Although, not a native of Nebraska, she is proud to say she lived the first 13 years of her life in Queens, NY but a move to Fairbury, Nebraska was a safer place to grow up. After graduating from college, she worked
for several different lawyers in Norfolk, NE but never felt as if that was the right fit for her. A move to Lincoln landed her a 20 year tenure in the County Treasurer’s office, working first for the Driver Licensing division then eventually titling and licensing motor vehicles. Denise’s valued experience and reliable,

Barcelona d’ Estudis Internacionals in Barcelona, Spain with a Bilingual Master’s Degree in International Relations. In addition, she possess a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in Political Science and Spanish from Morningside College, in Sioux City, IA. She currently works for the Nebraska Trucking Association as the Operations
respectful work landed her a position as the Office Manager of the Drivers License Office on West O St. For many years, Denise volunteered at NE Truck Driving Championships and various other trucking related functions. All of her experience in the motor vehicle field and customer service brought her to make a job change to Truck Services.
