December Teatre Royal Norwich

An Inspector Calls, which you might know from your GCSE’s or from the recent TV adaptation opens December at the Teatre Royal. A dinner party is interrupted by Inspector Birling investigating the death of a young woman. Tis year’s pantomime is Snow White, from December 15 to January 17. Wicked Queen Evilynne is Jennifer Ellison, who you might know from Brookside, or West End productions of Chicago and Legally Blonde. Gauntlett will be back in his customary dame role playing Nurse Dorothy Dumpling, as well as writing and directing the show. You’ll love this year’s panto. Oh yes you will.

12 December Real Life Charm present Te Tame Modern Dove Street Studios

Te Tame Modern is an arts, music and performance exhibition curated by musicians Real Life Charm, a local creative project founded by two NUA graduates. As a group they’ve been recognised by none other than Radio 1 DJ Huw Stephens, as well as Radio 6 Music, i-D and Clash Magazine, to name but a few. Seeking to distort, critique and compliment the idea of ‘high brow’ and ‘low brow’ in Western culture, this one-off event is not one to be missed, coming from talents bookmarked as ones to watch in the coming months. Live music and art, innit. Love that. £5.50 on the door.

26 Nov-12 Dec Pali ERZ Moosey Art

Pali has been drawing since he could hold a pencil without eating it or stabbing himself in the eye. At the age of 12 he saw the movie Beat Street and understood what he wanted to do with his drawings; paint them really big on walls. After he initiated the start of ERZ (Essex Rockerz), Pali joined an art college to study fine art. Tis show is about bringing together all the things that influenced Pali - graffiti, fine art and the cartoons he used to read as a child. With paintings on perspex, limited edition prints and a whole room dedicated to Star Wars, this is a must see show at Moosey. Pop in to take a break from your Christmas shopping and soak up some radness.
