A LEVEL REFORM

For most A-level reformed subjects, courses will run for

two years with examinations in the summer of 2018.

There are no longer any public

examinations at the end of the first year. However, internal examinations will be taken in order to assess student progress.

Unreformed subjects will retain AS examinations during 2017.

ONE YEAR COURSES

In recognition of the fact that students progress at different rates, and that a curriculum that meets the needs of one student may not meet the needs of another, we offer BTEC Level 3 National Extended

Certificate in Business, BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma in Creative Media Production, BTEC Subsidiary Diploma in Sport and BTEC Subsidiary Diploma In

Health and Social Care. These options will enable successful students to achieve A-level qualifications at the end of three years of study.
