Homes for pollinators

THE Trust’s Ayrshire volunteers recently constructed a “bee bank” at the Oldhall Ponds reserve to benefit solitary bees and wasps in the area. For more information on how to make your garden more wildlife friendly, visit our website or take a trip to Jupiter Urban Wildlife Centre to see the recently upgraded wildlife gardens.

THE Scottish Wildlife Trust is involved in a national plan to save the Scottish wildcat and needs your help. The Scottish Wildcat Action project will be setting up over 400 cameras across six wildcat priority areas in the Scottish Highlands between October and December. Volunteers are needed, particularly around the Cairngorms, for setting up and maintaining the cameras as well as sorting through images.
