ETHAN R. [South Shore 30; 225-hp John Deere] jumped into the lead and did not look back. Five boats came to the line for Class B (Up to 235 hp, 32 feet to 40 feet). Kit Johnson’s MR. LUCKY [Duffy 35; 225- hp John Deere] took the win and second was Cory McDonald’s HELLO DARLIN’ II. Also in this race was the only entrant in Diesel C (236 to 335 hp, 24 to 33 feet), Hollis Smith’s HAKUNA MATATA [BHM 31; 250-hp Cummins]. In Class D (236 to 335 hp, 34 feet to 40 feet) Carl Guyton’s PERSEVERANCE [Repco 37; 250-hp Cummins] took the win. In Diesel Class E (336 to 435 hp, 24 to 33 feet) there has been a great battle between Kenton Feeney’s BAD INFLUENCE [Holland 32, 350-hp Yan- mar] and Steve Carver’s BIGGER DIRLS [Holland 32, 400-hp John Deere]. BIGGER DIRLS jumped into the lead. However BAD INFUENCE got by for the win. There were six entrants in Class F (336 to 435 hp, 34 feet to 40 feet), but Ed Torosian’s MS. ROSE [Mitchell Cove 35; 410-hp Sisu] was a no show. First over the line was Stephen Brenton’s MISS KITTY [Young Brothers 35; 420-hp FPT], followed by Cameron Crawford’s NOT ENOUGH. Unfortunately Brent Davis’ HEE HAW [Wayne Beal 34; 220-hp, John Deere] did not fi nish the race when he developed a gear issue. The battle between LA BELLA VITA and LISA MARIE was ready to continue in Class K (701 to 900 hp, 28 feet to 40 feet). LISA MARIE took the lead, but LA BELLA VITA slowly ate away the lead and then slipped by for the win. In Class L (901 hp and over, 28 feet to 40 feet) there was just WILD WILD WEST and she ran up the course by herself. Now up was Class M(A) (40 feet and over, up to 500 hp), which had nine entrants.
