President’s Day is an important date in the school calendar, both in providing the opportunity to recognise and reward the hardwork and achievement of pupils and also to inspire others to seek to achieve their goals and


ambitionswith us. Emotional speeches fromthe Head Girl, Head Boy and Head of Boarding encapsulated the LVS Ascot spirit and after the ceremony therewere lots of fond farewells between pupils, and alsowith teachers.


The stormyweather couldn’t dampen spirits, as The Street andWest Playground then became the focus of a social gatheringwith barbecue and live music to round off amemorable academic year.


Shakespeare Week – So Bard ItWasGood


LVS Ascot’s inaugural Shakespeare Week in April created themed lessons for years 7, 8 and 9 allowing themto be creative, independent and dramatic. It encouragedpupils toenjoy learningaboutShakespeare in a dynamic and engagingway from performing scenes fromRomeo and Juliet on stage to creatingmodern interpretations of Shakespeare plays.
