Quesada Bowls Club report Sponsored by
March saw the culmination of our winter leagues. This year our Club took the major trophy, winning the Costa Blanca Winter League for the second year running. The photo, bottom right, shows Winter League Captain, Pete Bonsor accepting the trophy from league coordinator Colin Armitage.
Our Club Championships have also come to a conclusion and congratulations go to our Men’s Singles Champion Jason Prokopowycz, for his success in retaining his title for the second year. We had a new champion this year when Melanie Highland took the crown. Photo, top right, shows Jason and Melanie with their winners’ trophies.

Stella Jakeman was presented with the Ron Eastman trophy for the most improved player.
Several of these teams will be representing the Club at the Champion of Champions Event to be held in April.
Best wishes go to Lisa and Pete Bonsor who travel to Australia to represent Spain in the Ladies and Gents World Indoor Singles Championships.
The Club has a very active Social Committee, offering a range of events and activities.
The Club offers an introduction to bowling for new members, as well as an ongoing coaching programme.
