Helping disabled children to achieve their potential...
hildren Today is the charity that raises funds to provide vital specialised equipment for children and young people living with disabilities. Our aim is to ensure that every disabled child and young person has the opportunity to achieve their potential.
C
Supporting Children Today can change the life of a disabled child. An essential piece of equipment can have a direct and immediate impact on a child’s quality of life and independence. Equipment can include wheelchairs, walking frames, tricycles and other mobility aids; communication aids, multi-sensory equipment and educational toys; seating and sleeping aids.
Children Today relies totally on voluntary donations, we receive no funding from the government. There is no statutory right for young people with disabilities to be provided with the equipment they need by the Government or the NHS, so we fill that gap. We provide this service for children and young people right up to the age of 25.
We want to expand our service and help many more children. For more information about how you can get involved please visit our website
