Children up to age 5 may join the Bookstart Bear Club. They will receive a passport that is stamped on each library visit. Collect 6 stamps to receive a certificate.
The library offers some great things for under 5’s and also parents: • lots of lovely board and picture books to share with your child • rhyme time sessions and storytimes • events and activities throughout the year • borrow CD’s, DVD’s and Talking Books (charges apply) • visits to pre-school groups to talk about books & offer reading advice • books on all aspects of parenting
The library is a great place for meeting people and learning. It’s suitable for all ages and offers something for everyone, with fantastic author events, performances and lots of activities to partake in.
