Eisenwerk Arnstadt GmbH Eisenwerk Arnstadt GmbH is a leading foundry in cast brake shoes


and brake blocks. An outgrowth of special works developed by Deutsche Bahn, the German railway, the company was originally founded in 1921. The company currently offers an entire product range of brake shoes as well as a complementary offerings of other products such as instrument panels and casings. The available production systems include an automatic moulding line with box sizes 800 x 650 x 250/250 millimetre, an automatic cupola line, a continuous fettling machine as well as grinding machine. In addition to well-known private railways, private car leasing


companies and wagon manufacturers, loyal customers of Eisenwerk Arnstadt GmbH include numerous national railways. Eisenwerk Arnstadt GmbH is a qualified supplier (HPQ) to the German Railways (DB AG), “Excellence SNCF”-supplier to the French National Railways (SNCF) and a supplier to the Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB) as well as to the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB).
