kind of valves (flat seats). Thanks to its small size and its machining capacities, the TU200 can machine all the valve’s seal bearings. For conical seats, a TU400 with axial and radial feed combination device is the best option.


•Check valves : Machining of the seal surface. The axis’s bores of the check valves have to be machined


with greater precision because the rotation axis will be adjusted


• Butterfly valves : The Refinery industry, for installing pipeline, is using small butterfly valves (Ø<800 mm). To face those small valves, we need the TU series machines or the XP600. In order to machine all the


flanges, we use the chain clamping


device to fix the machine on the outside.


• Safety valves: Sometimes, conical machining is required and we can perform it with the RTJ device that will combine the axial and radial feeds. On a flat seat we need a roughness of Ra 0.8


The SERCO machines can be assimilated to portable lathes, but the tool bit in rotation and the machine’s body is fixed to the part to be machined. A lot of different revolution machining are performed by SERCO machine tools, not only seal surfaces (boring, drilling, spot faces, etc...)
