Each set of games is split into KS1, LKS2 and UKS2 and takes into account the statutory spelling requirements of the 2014 National UK Curriculum. The games have been designed by an expert and use a number of techniques to ensure that children not only learn their spellings but understand their meaning and how to use them in context. KS2 focusses on the required spelling lists whilst KS1 looks at the common exception words and spelling rules for phonics. Each leaf contains a spelling from the statutory list and on the reverse of the leaf is a defi nition of the word with suggested synonyms. Perfect to use in small groups and with individuals who need extra attention. The fans are split into three sets covering the statutory spellings for LKS2 and UKS2 and, as there are no statutory spellings for KS1, the common exception words listed in the recommendations. 20 fans per key stage (5 each of 4 designs) each with 25 leaves.
