‘Tis the season for taking inventory of your 2014 goals and looking forward to what you are going to create in 2015! In this interactive workshop, we will do a closing exercise for 2014 acknowledging your wins and successes while making peace with your past. This is a great opportunity to examine what is ready to fall away in your life and what is waiting to be born.

What do you want to consciously create for the upcoming year?

This workshop will help you create a personal theme for 2015. Your theme will be the filter for your life over the next 12-months, and help carry you forward into the New Year. Using guided imagery, we will create a rich, fertile soil for you to step into your possible future.

By the end of the day you will: • Reflect on the successes and challenges of 2014

• Connect with your most important values • Create a personal theme for 2015

• Identify your goals for the year in the six key areas of your life • Learn to narrow your focus and master distractions • Ignite the energy of gratitude

They are still present in the winter, just not as strong, as any skier who has had sunburn can tell you. UVA rays are “always” present and are the rays that cause premature “aging” in our skin. UVA rays have the ability to penetrate through glass 100% and 80% through cloudy days. This is why winter sun care is so important, we are fooled into thinking we don’t need protection from the sun in wintertime. The type of sunscreen can be confusing, it’s important to choose a “broad spectrum” sunscreen with an SPF of 30. Look for ingredients such as oxybenzone, zinc oxide and titanium dioxide. sun damage. When you combine a higher altitude and the sun’s rays reflected off the snow your risk for sun damage is increased by 35 to 45%. Weather can impact your protection, strong wind and snow can wear away your sunscreen making reapplication necessary. The amount you use is also important, the American Cancer Society recommends about a tsp with every application, making sure to cover all exposed ar- eas. Lips need protection and there are many lip balms that contain SPF of 15. Look for sunglasses and goggles that have UVA protection, as a bonus your eye protection will prevent you from squinting and prevent premature lines around your eyes. Cold weather happenings include: Paint the Town Red for Valentine’s Day. February 1 through 28, 2015. Businesses and residences throughout the Kennebunks. Residents and visitors will be seeing red with lobster-centric Red Plate Specials at restaurants, romantic “Five Shades of Red” packages at local hotels, “Red Tag” sales at neighborhood boutiques and more. The “love-ly” happenings begin on January 31, when the community flips the switch to reveal a rose-colored town covered in red, twinkling lights. Winterfest. February 7, 2015.
