As a former Marine, Robert “Bob” Colyer
is known affectionately by his friends as “Beirut Bob,” since he’s a proud supporter of Veterans’ rights, and promotes the industry through his involvement with the Veterans’ Association, Veterans’ of Foreign Wars and many other organizations. He is a regular guest on Road Dog radio. Bob reached his millionth mile while
working for Hunt Transportation, and he has over twelve years of accident-free commercial
driving. He has been with Hunt for over eight years, and has driven over 800,000 miles delivering goods for them. Brenton Falgione, former safety director
with Hunt Transportation, nominated Bob, saying “Bob always represents himself and the company well. His knowledge is something he tries to share with new drivers and those that need help.” Bob has achieved many awards, and has
