Compassionate Truth Opens for Business E

lda Dorothy started Compassionate Truth to help individuals overcome the discomfort and anger that can be associated with family estrangement. “The focus is not on reconciliation since each person’s situation is unique,” explains Dorothy. “Instead, the focus is on eliminating the stress responses whenever the thought of the estrangement arises. Once we’re able to do that, our life changes because our choices are different. We achieve an authentic sense of peace within our body, and not just in words.” Dorothy said she started Compassionate Truth because she

saw a need for healing the pain of family estrangement when she encountered her own resistance to addressing her familial estrangement. “Many people are secretly concealing their emotions surrounding their family estrangement for fear of judgment from others, which can especially be challenging around holidays and special life events,” explained Dorothy. Working with an energy healing method called Emotional Freedom Techniques,

Dorothy works together with her clients to enable them to obtain clarity of their situa- tion and achieve a true sense of peace. A common result from working with Dorothy is that people are able to let go of certain beliefs they may have harbored and are now able to see things from a differ- ent perspective. All sessions are held by Skype to enable people from anywhere to experience this relief. Working via Skype also makes it easier for people to fit what she provides into their busy schedule and from the comfort of their own home.

Mind & Body Chiropractic Gets New Look

D

r. Vernon Kuznia, owner of Mind & Body Chiropractic Life Center, invites everyone to its customer appreciation day and open house from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on December 13 at its Roseville location. There will be food, door prizes and adjustments.

The center recently experienced a facelift in October with a new look that includes

two dividing half walls, new colors, new equipment, a new kids’ area and a tea station. Three wobble chairs have replaced three of the chairs with the wobble disks on

them. A second whole body vibration platform has been added, and a new piece of equipment—a vibrating traction unit — was added to focus vibration therapy in the neck, low back, knees and shoulders. The purpose for the office remodel and new equipment was to add even more val- ue to the already valuable and affordable chiropractic memberships. “Getting adjusted regularly is the most important thing that happens at the office, but these changes really make the value of being a member even greater even if people just use the equipment available at the office,” states Vernon.

Location: 3101 Old Hwy. 8, Ste. 106, Roseville, 651-600-3521, MindBodyChiropractic. com. See Community Resource Directory listing, page 28.
