HoustonDanceCollectiveRaises theBarre InHouston,more open and professional level classes have surfaced at SuchuDance,DSH,METDance,HoustonBallet,Vitacca Productions&Company and the amazing upstart, theHouston DanceCollective, based at TheBarn. “We are heading into the Fall with great optimism,” saysCourtney Jones,HDCco-founder. “Our hope is that professionalswant opportunities to continue their training.” For now,HDCis completely voluntary,withmost of the proceeds going to the teachers.HDCjust started a Sunday class and there’s talk of awinter intensive. Fall instructors include Lori Yuill, LydiaHance,AstridVonUssar,Randall Flinn, TeresaChapman the HoustonDanceCollective co-founders andmore.
