ACTION-PACKED COMEDY: The Good, The Bad and The Welsh
WRITER Jack Llewellyn takes us from the rolling hills of Carmarthenshire to the bright lights of Las Vegas with an- other action packed comedy. WHEREelse can you see a potty-mouthed tween- ager, a gangsta rap-loving octogenarian and real- lifehumanbeings bent to thewhim of a mischie- vous ventriloquist and served up as trashy talk showfodder? With more than 3 million YouTube hits, 3 sell-
out Edinburgh festival shows, numerous Royal Variety Performance appearances and lashings of critical acclaim, ventriloquist Paul Zerdin is back for a storming new nationwide tour, visit- ing Ebbwvale’s Beaufort Theatre on October 11. The ultimate 21st century ventriloquist, Paul Zerdin has re-defined the art for the Twitter age and continues to push the boundaries of pup- petry. Serving up a show chock full of colourful characters, shocks and surprises, side-splitting skits and some seriously naughty humour, Paul may have his hand in some cute and cuddly crea- tions, but it might be best to leave the kids in- doors for this one. This stuffed and sassy stage show sees Zerdin
at the centre of a twisted, puppet-based sitcom. Sprightly old timer Albert is raising hell as ever and ruining Paul’s love life with his hard of hearing ways; but is faithful sidekick and gobby pre-pubescent Sam looking to step out of his master’s shadowand branch out on his own? Britain’s Got Talent have come calling and Sam wants a solo bite of the showbiz apple. And then of course Baby is up to his usual antics. Make sure you don’t miss one of the world’s leading ventriloquists showcase his cutting- edge antics with a dash of magic, some Muppet impressions and a huge dollop of comedy in a town near you this autumn.
