Bristol Register Office The Old Council House, Corn Street, Bristol, BS1 1JG
The Register Office is situated at The Old Council House, a Grade II listed building, at the corner of Corn Street and Broad Street in the heart of the old City.
The Lantern Room
The tastefully restored building offers an impressive selection of rooms for celebrating marriages & civil partnerships.
We also offer civil naming and renewal of vows ceremonies in all our rooms.
A naming ceremony is a non-legal ceremony, which can give families the opportunity to celebrate the naming of their child or children. The ceremony can include promises by parents, grandparents and supporting adults and can be enhanced with readings, poetry & music.
Many married couples wish to renew their marriage vows. This may be to celebrate a special anniversary or to share a ceremony with friends and family who may not have had the opportunity to attend the original wedding.
