Presence: Summit is October 5 T

he Presence: Summit, a day of speakers, workshops, lunch and arboretum tours, will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on October 5 at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, in Chaska. “When you feel empowered and have new knowledge, it’s easier to really live a life that is yours, rather than dictated from family, work or even society,” says Jennifer Salness, event organizer and owner of Presence On- line magazine. “Our event is providing a full array of resources so you can start to radiate yourself from within and with centered presence.” The speaker lineup includes Joan Steffend, an Emmy Award-winning news reporter and anchor at KARE-TV, in Minneapolis-St Paul. Steffend’s creative de- sign show, Decorating Cents, ran on HGTV for 10 years, after which she hosted a local spiritual radio show. Today, she runs her nonprofit Peace Begins with Me. Yvonne Rosenlund, an international speaker from Sweden, will speak on

every person’s innate capacities. Other confirmed speakers include Cyndi Dale, Lori Andrus, Lucinda Pepper, Patrick Sterenchuk and Liv Lane. A variety of artists, wellness coaches and teachers will also be present. “The venue of the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum is a large part of our

day, offering stunning fall gardens, walking paths, and meandering trails of trees and sculptures,” says Salness. “Plan on coming early and staying late to enjoy the fall treasures of this unique landmark.”

Cost $149. Pre-registration required; registration ends on Sept 19. No ticket sales at the event. Location: Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, Chaska. For more information and to register, visit PresenceOnlineMagazine.com. See ad, page 20.
