Some of the festivities over the three days include feng shui demonstrations by Susan Nelson, a tarot card reader, a shaman visit and music by Pascale from Kirtan Path. The store offers books, CDs, DVDs, aromatherapy, essential oils, candles, crystals, rocks, stones and jewelry.

Sandstrom created a special space in the store with a table and chair which she has called “Dorothy’s Corner” in honor of her late mother. Future events will include classes on feng shui, metaphysics, tarot card reading and the Law of Attraction.

Chris and Lisa Taylor, this interac- tive workshop will have a hands-on component for those interested in learning about the benefits of essential oils. Essential oils are used in a variety of ways; they can be inhaled, applied topically or ingested through food or drink. “From aromatherapy to cooking and medicinal purposes, essential oils have been a vital part of everyday life, dating back to 4500 B.C.,” says Chris Taylor. “People don’t need to know everything about the oils to begin using them. Just start slowly.” The Taylors will provide all the education necessary on how to use the oils. They add that eventually one can replace chemicals in the medicine and cleaning cabinets and kitchen, as well as personal and pet care products. The class is hosted by Diane

Christofferson, owner of Aark Ad- vanced Electrolysis and Advanced Wellness, who has included essential oils in her work for many years.
